Students in 2nd year have to prepare an oral presentation about geographical features of India.

Students in 3rd year have to prepare an oral presentation about typical plants and animals in India.

You can do the presentation individually or in pairs. Each student must say around 60 words. Oral presentations will take place on Monday 3rd February.

Apart from the oral presentation, you must work on an original miniature, mural... to show to your classmates that exemplifies the information you say in your oral presentation. The more creative this work is, the better.

Thanksgiving oral presentation

Thanksgiving is one of the most popular celebrations in the United States of America. It is lively and enjoyable for Americans. Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving too. Thus, you are going to investigate and prepare oral presentations about this unique feast.
You will be divided into groups of three or four students. Each group is going to work on a particularity of this holiday. These are the themes you have to research about:

1. When does people celebrate Thanksgiving? Tell traditions or activities people do on Thanksgiving day.

2. The origins and history of Thanksgiving. What does this feast celebrate?
3. Typical food people eat in Thanksgiving.
4. Fun facts about Thanksgiving.
5. Macy's Thanksgiving parade.
6. Thanksgiving Day in Canada. Differences with Thanksgiving in USA.

Each member of the team has to speak between 40 and 60 words and show at least one picture that exemplifies what they are speaking about. Use words and structures that you know how to use, if the teacher asks the meaning of a word or a sentence you must know how to answer!!!

These are the resources you can use to find the necessary information for your presentation:
